Worldwide availability through Agilent increases the reach of the productivity and accuracy afforded by the Polyarc system

Eden Prairie, MN, January 30, 2020 – Activated Research Company (ARC) is pleased to announce that the Polyarc system is now available globally through Agilent Technologies, Inc on their new 8890 gas chromatograph (GC). The Polyarc will come factory-installed in a GC detector position, with options available for both capillary and packed columns. Distribution is available by Agilent’s direct and indirect global GC sales channels throughout the world.

“This is a very exciting expansion of the Polyarc from the North American Agilent market to the global Agilent market,” said Rodd Joos, Chief Operating Officer of ARC. “Our customers have been asking for a streamlined method for having the Polyarc factory-installed on their Agilent GCs, so we’re very happy to be able to meet their needs.”

ARC’s products enable scientists to simplify their analyses, ultimately improving laboratory productivity and enhancing analytical capabilities. The Polyarc system is a catalytic microreactor that adds on to existing GCs with Flame Ionization Detectors (FIDs) and converts all organic compounds to methane for a universal carbon response and compound independent calibration. This not only saves time by reducing the amount of calibration steps required for accurate quantification but also puts the safety of the scientists first by reducing exposure to toxic solvents and standards.
