Marketing Specialist

Join forces with Activated Research Company (ARC), developer of award-winning and leading-edge innovations in the fields of science and technology. As part of the ARC sales and marketing team, you will drive ARC’s demand generation efforts.

The ARC Marketing Specialist will be an integral part of the ARC marketing team. You will help to build awareness of ARC in the marketplace, grow inbound leads, and support the customer experience every step of the way.

ARC products improve productivity, accuracy, and capability of chemical analysis systems in the research and production of foods, flavors, pharmaceuticals, polymers, basic chemicals, environmental testing and more.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, Both B2C and B2B marketing with a technology company preferred
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Digital Marketing Experience (PPC, SEO, Social Media, Email Marketing)
  • Competence with CRM tools
  • Strong Organization and Project Management Skills
  • Chemistry background preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute on content strategy through all digital and social media channels.
  • Work with a cross-functional team to implement lead generation strategies that help grow the sales pipeline.
  • Assist in digital marketing execution from paid media to email marketing campaigns.
  • Work with the product organization, sales, and marketing to define and refine product positioning and messaging for use in marketing and sales efforts.
  • Work well with vendors and partners

Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Join forces with Activated Research Company (ARC), developer of award-winning and leading-edge innovations in the fields of science and technology. As part of the ARC sales and marketing team, you will support ARC’s demand generation efforts by working with both inbound and outbound leads. You will help to build awareness of ARC in the marketplace, grow inbound leads, and support the customer experience every step of the way.

This role will be responsible for qualifying inbound leads, and connecting them with the ARC sales team as well as processing orders on ARC’s consumable products.  This position will also conduct outbound campaigns through phone, email and other tools to drive new business.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a SDR or similar role preferably in the B2B software industry
  • Experience working with email and other marketing campaigns
  • Experience with CRM tools (Insightly, SalesForce, Constant Contact, etc.)
  • Strong Organizational Skills
  • Proven effectiveness as a self-driven individual with a strong work ethic
  • Chemistry background preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Qualifying and moving leads through the pipeline from Lead to SQL, and connecting SQLs with the relevant ARC representative
  • Informing prospective clients about ARC’s products and services and answering questions to determine fit
  • Inside sales on small opportunities and consumables
  • Expand outbound lead generation through email and telephone campaigns and other methods
  • Working with marketing to measure and optimize efforts: A/B testing, messaging, design, etc.
  • Utilize ARC’s CRM and other marketing tools to document efforts and organize prospects and campaigns

Technical Sales Representative

Join forces with Activated Research Company (ARC), developer of award-winning and leading-edge innovations in the fields of science and technology. As part of the ARC sales team you will support ARC’s sales efforts by working with new and existing customers from a variety of industries.

 

The goal? Growing ARC’s revenue within key industries by providing solutions for select applications within the gas chromatography and liquid chromatography market space. ARC products improve productivity, accuracy, and capability of chemical analysis systems in the research and production of foods, flavors, pharmaceuticals, polymers, basic chemicals, environmental testing and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Moving leads quickly through the pipeline to exceed targeted sales goals
  • Informing prospective clients about ARC’s products and services and answering questions to determine fit
  • Utilize ARC’s CRM to document tasks and prospecting activities
  • Support efforts to create visibility for ARC with customers and within distributors at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to properly position and promote products and services of ARC
  • Travel to customer target and partner locations as needed to develop contacts and establish ARC as the partner of choice.
  • Ability to network and engage with ecosystem partners in pursuit of customer opportunities.
  • Creation and execution of short term and mid-range strategies and goals as part of an overall comprehensive plan for the identified region.
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Lead Generation team to identify and create the necessary sales tools, social media, and lead gen campaigns to drive conversions to create opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of (2) years of sales work experience. Preference will be given to candidates with experience and/or an affinity for science and technology.
  • Strong communications skills and attention to detail
  • Chemistry background preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required
