NewsManufacturing Excellence Awards spotlight exceptional performance by Minnesota’s manufacturing innovators
Eden Prairie, MN, August 8, 2019 – Twin Cities Business (TCB) Magazine has named Activated Research Company as a finalist of the 2019 Manufacturing Excellence Awards. Honorees and finalists will be celebrated at an awards dinner in September 2019. The Manufacturing Excellence Awards seek to recognize excellence in manufacturing related to product design and engineering, manufacturing processes, business operations, human capital, logistics and supply-chain management, local manufacturing, and/or product or niche uniqueness. Out of a wide and varied field of applicants, TCB’s editorial panel, along with industry experts selected five winners and five finalists for the 2019 awards.
Activated Research Company is dedicated to developing and launching catalysis-based products that will benefit the scientific community, enabling researchers to work toward advances in chemical safety, environmental awareness, new technological advancements, and more. The Polyarc system, ARC’s flagship product, is a breakthrough innovation that combines catalysis with chemical analysis to revolutionize 60-year-old technology. Since the product launch, the Polyarc has received numerous awards, including: R&D 100, GCC Best New Product, The Analytical Scientist Innovation Award, and the Tekne Award. ARC’s second product, the Jetanizer, takes advantage of 3D-printing to miniaturize existing equipment and remove unnecessary components for installation. Finally, ARC’s newest product, Solvere, is the world’s first universal FID for liquid chromatography.
“The ARC team is honored to be selected as a finalist for the Manufacturing Excellence Awards,” said Andrew Jones, CEO and Co-Founder, Activated Research Company. “These awards recognize Minnesota companies for innovation in manufacturing, and ARC is proud to be a part of such a creative and trailblazing community. We congratulate all the finalists and winners for their impressive technological achievements.”
